8 Scarlet Witch Powers Still Missing From The MCU
Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch may be one of the most powerful MCU characters, but she still hasn't displayed several of her superpowers from the comics. The origin of Wanda Maximoff's abilities is more ambiguous than other superheroes'. It has been retconned multiple times in the comics, but it's still agreed to come from a genetic connection to chaos magic. In the MCU, it also has been suggested to be genetic, as Wanda could cast subtle probability hexes as a child but could only harness her powers consciously after being experimented on by Hydra.
Up until Scarlet Witch's apparent death in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Wanda Maximoff has showcased a variety of increasingly powerful magical abilities such as energy attacks, telekinesis, mind control, telepathy, levitation, and reality warping. In WandaVision, Scarlet Witch also used various subtle abilities that become even more dangerous outside Westview, including time and weather manipulation, teleportation, astral projection, and transmutation. Yet, there are many other powers Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch can still develop if she returns to the MCU.
8 Energy Constructs The ability to shoot energy blasts is Scarlet Witch's earliest and most common power, but she hasn't used it to its full extent. In the source material, Scarlet Witch is able to create a diverse range of solid weapons and objects made up of pure magic energy similar to the MCU's version of Ms. Marvel's powers. These energy constructs could have been useful in Avengers: Infinity War, where Wanda Maximoff could have used them to defend herself and Vision from Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight, and Thanos.
7 Replication Magic users in Marvel Comics and the MCU tend to multiply their bodies either physically or in the form of intangible illusions. This is an ability Tom Hiddleston's Loki displayed as early as the first Thor movie, and Doctor Strange showed just how powerful it can be in his fight against Thanos during Avengers: Infinity War. But despite being more powerful than Loki and Doctor Strange by the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Scarlet Witch hasn't tried creating replicas of her own body in the MCU yet. Granted, this is also an ability Scarlet Witch rarely uses in the comics.
