2 Speaking to Screen Rant just a couple of days before Ryan Reynolds' Gambit comments, Channing Tatum said that he's discussing a Gambit movie with Marvel Studios CEO Kevin Feige. Given Tatum's obvious love for the character and his previous attempts to get a Gambit movie made, the likelihood of Tatum's Gambit getting his own film might be even higher now than it was back when Fox held the mutant hero's movie rights. The question now would be how and when to incorporate Tatum's Gambit into the MCU's overarching narrative.
Channing Tatum's Gambit movie began to take shape in 2014, went through development hell for around five years, and then was canceled in 2019.
