Deadpool & Wolverine has broken many records for the MCU, and one of these makes one joke featured in the Phase 5 movie even more untrue. Deadpool has always been well-known for his incessant joking and witty fourth wall breaks, and Ryan Reynolds has translated this brilliantly into live-action in all the Merc with a Mouth's movies. Deadpool & Wolverine is no different and, since the character now resides at Marvel Studios, Reynolds had more freedom to poke fun at the MCU itself, but not all of Deadpool & Wolverine's jokes landed.
