With Avengers 5 still looking for a director, Deadpool & Wolverine filmmaker Shawn Levy chimes in on his potential return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Levy was directly asked when he would be ready to do another MCU film – a concept with particular significance given various rumors have suggested him as a potential candidate to direct Avengers 5. While the Deadpool & Wolverine director didn't confirm any recent rumors, Levy stated the following about potentially working with Marvel Studios again:

I've read all those rumors, and it's nice! I'll say this: it's been an incredibly gratifying experience making this movie [Deadpool & Wolverine.] I know how happy I am with the process and the results. I know how happy Marvel is with the process and results, so I won't be surprised if there's more Marvel in my future. As to when, it would have to be the right idea, the right story, and the right moment, and probably after I get about 48 hours of rest!
