Deadpool Is Added To 3 Iconic MCU Moments In Clever Marvel Art Imagining His Deadpool & Wolverine Journey
Summary
- Deadpool & Wolverine may see its heroes journey throughout major events in the MCU's history.
- New art introduces Deadpool to Tony Stark's Iron Man, Steve Rogers' Captain America, and Loki.
- Several MCU heroes could realistically cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine, despite only Chris Hemsworth's Thor being confirmed.
Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool has been imagined in three major MCU moments in new art, following speculation that Deadpool & Wolverine will revisit some of Marvel Studios' biggest events. Now under the Marvel Studios banner, Deadpool not only has more fuel for his hilarious jokes, but will also be able to directly reference specific MCU moments and characters in 2024's upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine. Theories suggest Deadpool and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine will be journeying to major moments in the MCU's history, which could lead to cameo appearances by some MCU veterans.
While it's unclear which iconic MCU events Deadpool and Wolverine could revisit in Phase 5, a series of fan art shared by Kode Abdo has imagined the Merc with a Mouth meeting three notable characters. This includes Steve Rogers in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Tony Stark in Iron Man 3, and Loki from the MCU's Thor franchise.
Deadpool & Wolverine's revisiting of MCU events could constitute any number of surprising appearances, but some heroes are more likely to appear than others, particularly since Deadpool will be joining the MCU proper on a permanent basis.

Which MCU Heroes Could Realistically Cameo In Deadpool & Wolverine? Close A huge number of Marvel characters have been rumored to be making cameo appearances in Deadpool & Wolverine, informed by the fact that the Phase 5 movie will be bridging the gap between the MCU and Fox's X-Men franchise. While any number of X-Men heroes could debut, the prospect of MCU characters appearing in Deadpool & Wolverine is also exciting, as this will firmly cement Deadpool as a permanent part of the MCU. So far, only Chris Hemsworth's Thor has been confirmed to be making a cameo appearance through archive footage, but others could follow suit.

Captain America, could greet Deadpool upon his entrance into the MCU's main continuity. This was previously teased in a poster released by Total Film (via XMenUpdate), which sees Deadpool and Wolverine seemingly walking into the MCU. Deadpool & Wolverine's first official trailer also showed Wade Wilson and Logan jumping through a portal, reminiscent of those created by the Masters of the Mystic Arts, so this could lead to an appearance by Doctor Strange, Wong, or other sorcerers already in the MCU.
There are many other potential heroes who could pop up in Deadpool & Wolverine, perhaps enabling the project to answer questions about some of their whereabouts. The similarly fourth wall-breaking She-Hulk could appear, while Wolverine could finally battle Bruce Banner's Hulk in live-action. Ant-Man's dead body appears in the Void in trailers for the Phase 5 movie, so Paul Rudd himself could cameo as the size-changing Avenger. As the guardian of the multiverse, Loki could appear, while Deadpool's partnerships with the likes of Spider-Man and Daredevil could be teased sooner than anyone suspected.
