Ms. Marvel's high review scores in Rotten Tomatoes earned it a special award, proving the show is subject to one of the MCU's biggest 2022 injustices. Despite the strong reviews and overall critic approval of the show, it wasn't nearly as popular as it should have been, and has yet to be green lit for a second season.
Rotten Tomatoes' Golden Tomatoes awards go to all the top movies and TV shows of particular franchises, and the 2022 award for best-reviewed superhero TV show went to Ms. Marvel. The show's 98 percent Tomatometer score, adjusted based on the number of total reviews it received, out-ranked every other superhero TV show released in 2022. Ms. Marvel had a higher score than two other MCU shows, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Moon Knight, yet it was still rated the least-watched MCU show on Disney+.
