Daredevil: Born Again Can Finally Address An MCU Infinity Saga Complaint

One major missing story from the MCU's Infinity Saga can finally be explained during Phase 5's Daredevil: Born Again. Charlie Cox made his first official appearance as the MCU proper's Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home before suiting up as Daredevil for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, ahead of upcoming appearances in Echo and his own solo Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again. While production on Born Again is now in full swing, there are still many questions surrounding the storyline that the Phase 5 series will detail, especially since it has been granted a whopping 18-episode run.
Aside from speculation surrounding which (if any) characters from Marvel Television's Daredevil Netflix series will be making a move into the MCU proper, many are wondering when in the MCU's timeline Daredevil: Born Again will actually be set. After the five-year time jump in Avengers: Endgame, the remaining heroes found themselves in 2023, but now it seems as though the MCU has moved through 2024 and 2025 too, so Born Again could pick up in the present day of the MCU. However, Born Again's 18-episode count grants it the special opportunity to tell one major Infinity Saga story that Marvel Studios has all but forgotten about.
