Marvel"s Power Broker Twist Can Bring Back A Jessica Jones Villain
Sharon Carter's reveal as the MCU's Power Broker could open the door for the return of one villain from Netflix's Jessica Jones. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier brought Sharon Carter back to the MCU after she had been missing since Captain America: Civil War, revealing her to have been living and working in Madripoor as the Power Broker over the duration of the Blip. The ending of the Phase 4 series teased a dark future for Carter in the MCU, as she now has access to high-level secrets, prototype weapons, and advanced technology ready to sell to the highest bidder.
During Phase 4, characters from Marvel Television's Netflix shows started to integrate into the MCU, starting with Matt Murdock, a.k.a. Daredevil, and Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. Kingpin, in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Hawkeye, respectively. While Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio reprised their roles from the New York City-set Defenders Saga, no other actors from the Netflix shows besides Berthal's Punisher have been confirmed to be returning. However, street-level heroes are becoming far more prominent in the MCU's Multiverse Saga, which could hint at heroes such as Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist eventually being introduced, and they could potentially bring their villains with them.
