Captain America: New World Order might be secretly setting up one of the most powerful villain organizations ever introduced in Marvel Comics. The upcoming film is set to star Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) as the new Captain America, who will face off against a litany of supervillains therein. The fourth Captain America film keeps adding new villains, including President Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross (Harrison Ford), Dr. Samuel Sterns, a.k.a. the Leader (Tim Blake Nelson), and several characters whose identities remained undisclosed by Marvel Studios. New World Order may have a terrific explanation for its multiple villains, however, in introducing a terrifying new team to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
While New World Order including the iconic Hulk villain the Leader is exciting as the character has been absent in the MCU since 2008's The Incredible Hulk, much attention has shifted to Harrison Ford taking over the role of Thunderbolt Ross after William Hurt's passing. Moreover, Marvel continues to add villains to New World Order, casting several mystery roles, including Xosha Roquemore's unnamed character, which has led to rumors that the Serpent Society may also appear in the film.
