The Marvels seems to be the culmination of storylines introduced in Captain Marvel, WandaVision, Ms. Marvel, and Secret Invasion. When Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, is investigating a strange anomaly in space at the same time as her estranged niece Captain Monica Rambeau, a SABER astronaut, their powers become entangled along with those of teenage heroes Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel. The trio will need to work together to get a handle on their powers and face off against Captain Marvel's old enemy, the Kree, who are responsible for the wormhole that brought them together in the first place.
