Spider-Verse"s Gwen Stacy Becomes Miles" Canon Event In Tragic Fan Art
With the establishment of canon events in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, new fan art sees Miles Morales lose Gwen Stacy, a.k.a. Spider-Woman, instead of his father. One of the films of 2023 became Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, with Miles back on the big screen to continue his cinematic adventure. While the film introduced several new Spider-heroes, the sequel also saw the return of other characters, including Spider-Woman, as Gwen and Miles got reunited. However, things got dramatic between them as Miles learned that Gwen had withheld things from him.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse ended on a dramatic note between the two heroes, but fans are now imagining things getting darker for them in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. Art of Time Travel recently shared a new fan art where Gwen becomes Miles' new canon event, as the teenage heroine is seen dead in his arms.
This wouldn't be the first time Gwen dies tragically, as she is famously known for her major death in the Marvel Comics world when Spider-Man failed to save her. The storyline got loosely adapted into live-action in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, with Emma Stone's incarnation.
