Ryan Reynolds shares new photos of Wesley Snipes as Blade from the Deadpool & Wolverine production while advocating for the actor to get another Marvel movie appearance. One of the biggest Marvel cameos in Deadpool & Wolverine was the surprising return of Snipes, reprising his version of Blade in the Phase 5 adventure. This marked the first time since Blade: Trinity that the actor has portrayed the beloved Marvel hero.
Nearly a month after the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, many are hoping to see more of Wesley Snipes as Blade, including Ryan Reynolds himself. Continuing to celebrate the major success of Deadpool & Wolverine, Reynolds shared more BTS photos with Snipes as Blade while showing further support for the prospect of his fellow Marvel actor getting a "Logan-style sendoff" in his future.

2 Could Wesley Snipes Actually Get A Blade Movie Under Marvel Studios? Close With Snipes' Blade and his film franchise being one of the bigger references in Deadpool & Wolverine, it makes sense that this return has led to questions about potential future appearances from the character in the MCU. The bigger question, however, is whether this is something that is within the realm of possibility at Marvel Studios. As of right now, Marvel Studios hasn't announced any plans to bring Snipes back as Blade.
Given that the MCU still has the MCU's Blade movie reboot coming up with Mahershala Ali, another Blade movie cropping up currently seems unlikely. However, given the many problems that they have been facing with the Blade film, having Wesley Snipes return once more could help the overall Blade franchise, especially if Snipes' Blade also popped up in that movie. Given audiences have demonstrated a clear interest in Blade 4, it would also make sense to capitalize on that interest by making the film a reality.
While Blade 4 may not happen in the long run, it is likely that fans will see Snipes back at least one more time before the end of The Multiverse Saga. The MCU has both Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars coming up, which are prime opportunities to feature Snipes' Blade again alongside other iconic Marvel characters, both within and outside the MCU. But until that happens, the MCU audience can relive Snipes' portrayal of Blade in Deadpool & Wolverine.
Deadpool & Wolverine R A follow-up to the highly successful Deadpool and Deadpool 2 films starring Ryan Reynolds as the Merc with a Mouth. The third film will be the first in the franchise to be developed under the Marvel Studios banner following Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox.
