In a new interview with PTI (via Times of India), Liu was asked if he could reveal anything new about Shang-Chi 2, which has been in development for a number of years since the first film came out. Without getting too specific about it, Liu promised that Shang-Chi 2 is still happening, sharing the following:
A lot of it is above my pay grade, but it's definitely happening. So just very excited to kind of work on it and it's going to be amazing. I really can't say anything beyond that.
