With the Thunderbolts* movie arriving next year, the Marvel Cinematic Universe cast reflects on how the new team is the opposite of the Avengers.
The Thunderbolts* movie was previewed as part of Marvel Studios' San Diego Comic-Con 2024 presentation, and the cast was finally able to share some footage from the team-up film. Screen Rant chatted with several Thunderbolts* cast members, including David Harbour, who will be back as Red Guardian. When the Black Widow star was asked if there is a dynamic difference between the Thunderbolts* characters in comparison to the Avengers, Harbour stated the following:

David Harbour: To the Avengers? We're not the good guys. We are not capable like Captain America or responsible. We don't show up on time, things like that. Punctuality is not our strong suit. Impulsivity is! And reactivity. The ability to get things done is; bending the rules is. We're a completely new species of hero, I would say. We don't exist yet in the MCU. I think we're a new evolution of something. I don't know if it's good or bad, but it's unique.

Thunderbolts* open in theaters on May 2, 2025.
