Which Multiversal Heroes Do We Want To See The Most In Avengers: Secret Wars? Close Despite a huge amount of speculation, no cast members of Avengers: Secret Wars have yet been confirmed. This means there is great potential with the Phase 6 movie to pay off unfinished storylines from previous Marvel movies, and to bring back beloved characters that haven't been seen in years. This could mark the return of the MCU's original Avengers team, who have been rumored to be reforming to take part in what is expected to be the MCU's biggest project yet. Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans have been the focus of many viewers' hoped-for characters in Secret Wars.

After they reprised their roles in the MCU's Phase 4, it's possible that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield could return as their versions of Spider-Man in Secret Wars. They could be joined once again by their reformed villains, and even characters from Sony's Spider-Man Universe, some of whom could actually be done justice in the MCU. Several heroes from Fox's X-Men franchise are also expected to return in Deadpool & Wolverine, so they could stick around to take part in Secret Wars before Marvel Studios reinvents the X-Men team.
Marvel Studios has already introduced many variant heroes.
With the upcoming debut of the MCU's Fantastic Four team, it would be great to see previous iterations of the team appear in Avengers: Secret Wars. This could also be the case for Ghost Rider, who has been heavily-rumored to be debuting in the MCU soon, which would allow Nicolas Cage or Gabriel Luna to return as their versions of the Spirit of Vengeance. Marvel Studios has already introduced several variant heroes, too, so the likes of Earth-838's superhero teams, or X-Men variants from The Marvels' universe, could also reappear.
