Following the reveal that it was indeed Reynolds' real-life wife Blake Lively who played Lady Deadpool in Deadpool & Wolverine, the actor spoke about working with her on the Not Skinny But Not Fat Podcast, where he shared the following:
I've been sleeping with her. Not saying that she’s enjoying the sleeping together part, but I'm just saying I have. It’s so weird. I feel nauseous even saying something like that out loud. All I do is keep secrets. I mean it was sort of, yeah, it was kind of one of those things where you're like, 'Well, why not?' I mean, go for it, of course," he said about casting Likely in the role. "I mean, we're all there together anyway. Let’s go nuts. Yeah, it was a lot of fun. Yeah, she did love it. And she's one of the funniest people I know.
