While discussing Deadpool & Wolverine, Marvel stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman subtly refer to Agents of SHIELD as part of the MCU. The Multiverse Saga has been incorporating all kinds of Marvel projects into the MCU multiverse. Deadpool & Wolverine's multiversal cameos, villain, and plot mark an important landmark in this process, as the MCU integrates not only Fox's X-Men franchise, but also other Fox movies such as Elektra, Fantastic Four, and Blade.
During Vanity Fair's "Ryan Reynolds & Hugh Jackman Take Lie Detector Tests" video in which the two actors question each other on different topics, Reynolds asks Jackman if he has watched every project in the MCU canon, including Agents of SHIELD.
