  • Characters like Shang-Chi, Ms. Marvel, Black Panther, Kingpin, Daredevil, Captain Marvel, Blade, and Hulk have untapped potential and important roles to play in the rebooted MCU.

A soft MCU reboot seems inevitable with the advent of Avengers: Secret Wars, which will involve the arrival of some new MCU characters, the reemergence of long-dead ones, and the continued survival of others. It is very unlikely that Namor will appear again until at least Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, where he will likely be incorporated in the Avengers fold. Beyond that, Namor has been established as a mutant, and as a periodic member of the X-Men in the comics, there is every chance he will make it past the MCU reboot that is set to heavily feature the new X-Men.
