MCU Theory Reveals Loki Is Secret Wars" Villain (& His REAL Glorious Purpose)

One major MCU theory suggests that Loki's real "glorious purpose" is to become the villain for Avengers: Secret Wars. Not much is yet known about the story for Avengers: Secret Wars, the final film in the MCU's Multiverse Saga that has been rumored to feature many existing and returning heroes from the MCU and various other Marvel movie franchises. Avengers: Secret Wars could be adapted from two separate Secret Wars events in Marvel Comics, though it seems more likely that the 2015 version of the event will be brought to life in the MCU, as this story features incursions, catastrophic events that have been teased in the MCU.
During Marvel Comics' 2015 run of Secret Wars, various heroes and villains in the Marvel Universe come together on Battleworld after an incursion destroys the main universe (616) and the Ultimate Marvel universe (1610). On Battleworld, a new world created from fragments of destroyed realities, many of Marvel's characters take on new traits, including the Fantastic Four villain, Doctor Doom, who cements himself as the creator and ruler of their universe, renamed God Emperor Doom. For the MCU, however, Marvel Studios will need to think carefully about the characters they use to fill Secret Wars' most important positions, which could see the Avengers' original enemy take over from Doctor Doom.
