MCU Phase 6 Must Properly Pay Off No Way Home"s Daredevil Setup

Peter Parker and Matt Murdock were seen together for the first time in Spider-Man: No Way Home, setting up a moment that needs to be paid off in the MCU's Phase 6. After portraying the Devil of Hell's Kitchen on Marvel Television's Daredevil series, Charlie Cox made the move to the MCU proper for Spider-Man: No Way Home, debuting as Peter Parker's lawyer after his identity is revealed to the world. Unbeknownst to Peter, Aunt May, and Happy Hogan, the mysterious lawyer with quick reflexes actually operates as the vigilante superhero, Daredevil, who made his official MCU debut during She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
In Marvel Comics, Spider-Man and Daredevil have come together several times to protect the citizens of New York, an appropriate pairing as both operate as street-level heroes. This made Spider-Man: No Way Home the perfect place to bring Charlie Cox's Daredevil into the MCU, and begin to lay the foundations for a brilliant partnership in future MCU projects. No Way Home teased Murdock's heroism, especially when he was shown to catch a thrown brick despite being blind, but the MCU's Phase 5 will develop this in Daredevil: Born Again. Even so, viewers will probably have to wait for Phase 6 to see a team-up of Spider-Man and Daredevil.
